To my Dad,
A note to my Dad and some of my favorite things about my Dad from your daughter. My “Ray” of sunshine, my beautiful “Pops” as I called him. I love you more than words could ever say. A piece of my heart will forever be missing. Your love was unconditional and your hugs could cure all. Pops was so loving, kind, caring and thoughtful. He had a sparkle in his blue eyes, a radiant smile and an infectious laugh. He gave the best bear hugs. He loved music and he loved singing and humming. He would listen to all kinds of music but he mostly loved the piano. We would listen to a song and he would smile so big and say how wonderful the music was. He had a passion for remote trains, planes, and cars. He loved movies; Sci Fi, Detective, Comedy, Spy, Adventure, and Action. I loved watching movies with him and watching his face light up when he liked something in the movie. He had a quirky, and joyful personality. He was so smart, brave and strong. He found joy in the little things. Whether he was sitting on the porch soaking up the sunshine, watching the wildlife go by, watching a movie, good food, breeze on his face, listening to music, singing or enjoying his friends and families company. He was truly a happy person, he was loved by so many. His positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart left an impression wherever he went. Pops your love and kindness touched the lives of everyone around you and your absence is deeply felt. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not miss you. I love you with all my heart always and forever. I love you infinity.
Your loving daughter
The family also wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and residents at Discovery Village for their love, care, kindness and friendship they showed to Raymond, my Dad. They treated my Dad and myself like their family and I am forever grateful.
