Raymond O'Neill's Obituary
O’NEILL, Raymond 94, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Born in Albany, New York, to the late Francis O’Neill and Christine Stark, Ray was a devoted family man who shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Rose, who preceded him in death.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his children: Daniel (Joanne), Ray (Diana), and Peggy (Arthur) Frankel; his five grandchildren; and his five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Harold (Kitty) Bruce, Reginald (Pegi) Bruce; sisters-in-law Josephine (late Thomas) Griffiths, Jean (Paul) Hebert, Marion Bruce; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marianne O’Neill; brothers-in-law Gerard (Mary) Bruce, Cecil Bruce, Edward Bruce, Francis (Lillian) Bruce, Bernard (Gertrude) Bruce; and sisters-in-law Margaret (Gerald) Kelly, Elizabeth (George) Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on May 15 at 11 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 8400 Monarch Dr., Port Richey, FL followed by interment at Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson, FL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
