Ralph Curtis Gullette's Obituary
A Life Steered by Loyalty and Motion
October 19th, 1937 – May 19th, 2026
Our family pauses to honor Ralph Curtis Gullette, born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 19th, 1937, who passed away on May 19th, 2026 at Sturgill Care Center in Brooksville, Florida. We remember him first as a loving husband, father, and brother who preferred order and cleanliness in all things.
Ralph shared fifty-nine years of marriage with his cherished wife Samia. He was the proud father of Adam and felt the deep ache of Adam’s earlier passing. Ralph also kept close ties with his late sister Margaret, and he welcomed Magdy, Sue, Mary, Ashley, Naomi, Cyril, Ezra, and Theadore into his circle with the same steady affection he showed his immediate family.
From 1956 to 1966 Ralph served in the United States Air Force, rising to Senior Airman at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. Those years shaped the loyal, kind, generous, and honest spirit we relied on every day.
Even after service, Ralph stayed in motion; he loved to bike 10 to 20 miles each day. The quiet rhythm of those rides matched his orderly nature and gave him the calm focus he carried into every conversation.
We describe Ralph in four simple words that never failed us: Loyal, Kind, Generous, Honest. Each trait showed up in small, consistent acts—never loud, always certain—reminding us what steady love looks like.
Ralph’s seat at our table may be empty, yet his gentle guidance stays present in our choices and our care for one another. We send him off with gratitude for every mile he rode beside us and with a promise to keep his memory close in our daily lives.
