Patrick S. Murray's Obituary
Patrick Murray, 78 passed away on June 9th 2020. His final days were spent at home surrounded by his loving family in Spring Hill Florida.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Marguerite
Murray; brother, Michael Murray Jr; and sister, Eileen Craven. He is survived by his loving wife, Vegee Murray; son, Timothy Murray; son, Kevin Murray; daughter, Dawn Pelaez; son, Packy Murray; brother, Owen Murray; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pat was born in Rockaway Beach NY and moved to upstate
New York as a teenager. He married the love of his life and moved his family to Town And Country Florida in 1971. Pat began his career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office in 1978. Pat served admirably on the force for 26 years before retiring in 2003
to spend time enjoying his growing family and playing the occasional game of golf.
Pat was a generous and dedicated family man. He married
Vegee in 1961, raised 4 children and was devoted to his 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pat was a loving husband, father, and role model. Pat will always be remembered for his commanding presence, sense of humor and kind heart.
Services will be held this Friday June 12th 2020 at Grace Memorial Gardens
and Funeral Home in Hudson Florida beginning at 2P
Visitation will be held on Friday June 12th, 2020 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson, FL, 34667, 727-863-5471 from 12noon until 2pm.
