It’s with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Bernard Alleyne Jr., who departed this life on April 27, 2025, after a courageous 10-year battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on August 3, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York, Junior was the beloved son of Patrick W. and Jean Alleyne and a treasured presence within his community.
Junior lived a life marked by love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Known for his remarkable kindness, generous spirit, and radiant smile, he touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He graduated from August Martin High School and pursued his passion for food services at LaGuardia Community College. Professionally, Junior served as a Dietary Supervisor and proudly represented his colleagues as a delegate for SEIU 1199 United Healthcare East. He concluded his career with distinction at Woodcrest Rehabilitation & Residential Healthcare LLC.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Junior was a gifted writer and poet, often sharing his creative voice and thoughtful reflections with those around him. His resilience, strength, and comforting presence were a beacon of hope and support to many.
Junior’s legacy of love and kindness will continue through the lives of his cherished family: his brothers, Kenneth and Sean Alleyne; his children, Omar and Tori Alleyne; his nieces, Aesha, Tenesha, and Dominique Alleyne; and his nephews, Vasean, Keon, and Sean Alleyne Jr. In moments of both celebration and sorrow, his memory will serve as a guiding light.
A memorial service honoring Junior’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 US Highway 19. Together, we will gather to celebrate a life beautifully lived and deeply loved.
Patrick Bernard Alleyne Jr. will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
