Patrick W. Alleyne Sr. 89, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the cherished husband of Jean Alleyne, with whom he shared 64 beautiful years of marriage.
Born on October 28, 1935, in Trinidad, Patrick was the beloved son of the late Coleridge and Carmen Alleyne (née Lindo). In pursuit of a better life, he and Jean immigrated to the United States, initially settling in New York where they raised their family before eventually relocating to Florida.
Patrick enjoyed a distinguished 33-year career at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, rising to the position of Vice Treasurer. Renowned for his sharp intellect and swift calculations, he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike while leading the bank’s treasury department.
A true sports enthusiast, Patrick found joy in soccer, football, and horse racing. He especially loved attending games and practices with his sons, creating treasured memories through their shared passion for sports. He also had a love for travel—whether by car, boat, or plane—and relished exploring new places. An avid reader and lifelong learner, he was captivated by books and maps and often took pride in expertly navigating family road trips.
Patrick was a devoted parishioner of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill. He will be remembered for his kind heart, thoughtful wisdom, and the profound love he had for his grandchildren, with whom he shared many joyful moments.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean; his sons, Kenneth and Sean; seven grandchildren—Aesha, Tenesha, Omar, Dominique, Tori, Keon, and Sean Jr.; and three great-grandchildren—Ian, Imani, and Imara. He was predeceased by his son, Patrick Jr.
Patrick leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
