Patricia C. Thomas' Obituary
Patricia C. Thomas, 85, of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, at Vitality Living Baypoint Village. She was the beloved wife of Ralph Wayne Thomas, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on April 14, 1940, in Athens, Ohio, Patricia was the daughter of the late Lodes Gorby and Mabel Gorby (née Stotts). She had a deep love for her cats and cherished time spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, where her family had a cabin. Patricia enjoyed the beauty of nature and wildlife, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She will be remembered for her selflessness and caring nature—always putting others before herself. Her kindness and love touched everyone around her.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, R. Wayne Thomas; daughters, Carol Jenkins and Connie Bucher; grandsons, Branden Jenkins, Shayne Jenkins, and Kristopher Bucher (Christina); and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, followed by interment at Grace Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter in honor of Patricia’s love for cats.
