Norma Genevieve Greenway's Obituary
Norma Genevieve Greenway, age 80 of Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Norma was born January 24, 1938, to the late Clarence F. and Hazel (Allen) Culler. She was the beloved wife of Peter Longstaffe. Norma worked at Publix in Florida for many years before moving to Mount Airy, North Carolina where she then co-owned and managed Delux Cabs then worked at Meadows of Dan Trading Company as well as Garson McMillian Real Estate. After some time Norma moved back to Port Richey, Florida and worked at Cotton Seed in Tarpon Springs, Florida from which she retired in 2010. Norma enjoyed life to the fullest, She especially enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. Some of her favorite pastimes include traveling, entertaining, decorating, listening to music and dancing. She was also an avid reader and an excellent cook. Norma adored her grandchildren and found great joy in helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter W. Greenway, brother, Clarence F. Culler Jr. and grandson Chad Nicholas Stringham. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Peter Longstaffe, Daughter, Angie (Mickey) Stringham of Westminster, Maryland, sisters; Sylvia (Bernie) Martin of Hudson, Florida and Wanda Bowlsbey of Hudson, brothers; Roger (Anita) Culler of Hudson, and Gary (Jan) Culler of Tampa, Florida, grandchildren; Benjamin and Trevor Stringham, great-grandchildren; Brayden and Reagan Stringham, stepchildren; Paul Longstaffe, Simon Longstaffe and Joanne Pickering, and many nieces and nephews. Norma was positive, happy and always having a good time. She touched many lives and was loved by all. We are all left rich in memories of her. A memorial service will be held at Grace Memorial Gardens, 16931 US-19, Hudson, FL 34667, September 15, 2018, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to; Ronald McDonald House Charities Tampa Bay Inc 35 Davis Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606-3405.
