Nellie Violet Stone's Obituary
Nellie Violet Stone, 89, of Springhill, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was born in Croydon, England to Ernest James Luker and Nellie Crouch. She received a medal for her service in the Women’s Land Army in England. She spent many years working in the school system and is fondly remembered by staff and students alike. Nellie will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Jim, Sheila, Danny and George.
She is survived by her husband Edward P. Stone; sons Jimmy Stone and wife Mary; Christopher Stone and wife Wendy; daughter Linda Stone and husband Marcus; brother Andy Luker; sister Doris Rooney; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Grace Memorial Gardens Cemtery.
