Myrtice Mayo Evans' Obituary
Myrtice M. Evans, 85, of Hudson, Florida died on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born in Marianna, Florida on July 16, 1938 to Sidney and Bessie Mayo. She worked in Accounting at the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department until she retired. Her passions were sewing, embroidery, reading and volunteering at her grandson’s elementary school. And in her own words “She was put on Earth to be Cameron’s grandmother”. She was predeceased by her parents and four of her six brothers and sisters. She was also predeceased by her four beloved Chihuahuas – Tiny, Deogie, Chiquita and Cody.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Evans-Fraize; grandson Dr. Cameron Evan Wilson Fraize; sisters Lou Hulsberg and Myrtle Mercer; her “spiritual” family, Edward, Doreen, Steffanie and Ashlee Cichon; many nieces, grandnieces, nephews, grandnephews and cousins.
