Jenny Miller
I had Mrs. Loy in the second grade at North Anderson Elementary School, probably 1976-77 school year. I remember that year she had a Halloween party for us at her home. She taught me how to write in cursive. My name is Jenny and my brother had taught me to make a cursive J wrong and i went to school and wrote my name Genny on the chalk board. I remember she told me that was going to be my name for the rest of my life and I needed to know how to write it correctly. I am sure there are many more memories that i have however those are two that stand out. She was one of my favorite teachers and I was happy that she had red hair because I am a red head myself. RIP Mrs. Loy!
