Michelle "Shelly" Peck's Obituary
Michelle “Shelly” Peck passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2026 at Elevated Estates Brooksville.
She was born on December 15, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio at Fairview Hospital to Janet Paliokas and the late Edward E. Paliokas.
Shelly dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working as a caregiver and medical technician prior to her illness. She had a vibrant personality and a love for life that was evident to everyone who knew her. Shelly enjoyed painting, playing cornhole, bingo, and cards, and was truly a social butterfly. She had a natural ability to connect with others—people were drawn to her warmth, charisma, and genuine kindness.
A lover of animals, Shelly especially adored her cats and at one time cared for as many as five. Her beloved cat, Squeaks, held a special place in her heart.
Shelly will be remembered as loving, kind, and full of life—a true people person whose presence brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Janet Paliokas; her siblings, Monica Philips (Bobby), Michael Paliokas (Denise), and Mark Paliokas; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cherished cat, Squeaks.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Paliokas.
