Michael T. Minichino, 93, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014. Mike was born in New York to Anthony and Madeline Minichino on October 19th, 1920. Mike moved to New Port Richey in 1967 and worked for Des Little & Sons Construction Company as a Bull Dozer operator for over 30 years. Mike was a proud U.S. Army World War II Veteran, who loved his country.Mostly he loved and served the Lord. Mike's family meant everything to him.He enjoyed being outdoors rather than inside the house. He raised parakeets and pigeons. He could plant and grow anything. He enjoyed horses and walking through Flea-Markets. He was a big Tampa Bay Rays Fan and followed them closely.Mike was a great story teller and really enjoyed listening to Italian music, especially his favorite was Jimmy Roselli songs like "When your old wedding ring was new".Mike was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Christine back in January 2014. He is survived by his children, Michael (Kathleen); Steven (Denise Annette); Vincent (Teresa); Madeline Michitsch (Kenneth); Kathleen Lumia (Thomas); Christina Minichino (Troy); 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 at 2pm at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Hudson, Fl.
