I am very sad to find that Mike has passed. He and Ellie were good friends of my parents and I spent many fun times with them all. Mike was a beautiful man who was always a joy to be with. Since my parents have passed I kept in touch with Mike at Christmas (cards) and his birthday (calls) as well as some other times in between.
I called him today to wish him a Happy Birthday as I have done since Mom was still with me. We would have great fun remembering "old times" and sharing current happenings - as my dog in which he took great interest. I have many wonderful memories of him and Ellie.
When I got the message that the call could not be completed I got a very bad feeling. Now I know why.
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to his family members. This is the end of a wonderful era when friends stopped by, had dinner and shared much fun. This is indeed a sad day. Donna Monek
