Michael G. Bauch's Obituary
Michael G Bauch, born January 27, 1941, son of Robert and Margaret Bauch in Fort Wayne Indiana.
After graduation from Central Catholic High School, he attended Indiana University in Fort Wayne Indiana where he met his wife of 62 years, April McCreary. After marriage and the birth of his two children he finished his BS Degree at IU in Bloomington, Indiana in 1963.
He went into sales of retail products with various companies working his way up to District Sales Manager of their New York Sales Region. After James River was sold, he was downsized and started his own successful company MGB Associates. He worked directly with brokers who sold a variety of products he represented to sell to the retail food industry. He helped introduce Canadian paper products company into the American market and expanded their sales to include most of the United States.
Mike lived in several cities in the US before moving to Florida in 2005. He loved to sail in Long Island Sound and the Caribbean while living in CT. He always enjoyed a good time and a good laugh with the many friends he made. His love of travelling continued during his retirement and took him to many states and countries from Arizona to Australia.
He is survived by his wife April, his son Christopher Bauch and his Daughter Anne Jones. Grandfather to seven Grandchildren, Sarah Walsh, and husband Sean, Emily, and Matthew Bauch; Nicholas, and wife Marguerite, Maggie, Daniel and Samuel Jones. Recently he was promoted to Great Grandfather with the birth of his Great granddaughter Lydia Noelle Jones.
May he rest in the hands of God now free from pain and suffering. A memorial service will be held at Grace Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1pm.
