Maureen M. DeMonda's Obituary
Maureen M. De Monda, 77, of Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday October 26th, 2015. Maureen was born in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Rita Mulligan on May 11th, 1938. She was employed as a Cook for the School system for many years. She was a Catholic by Faith and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Maureen volunteered with many church activities such as the Women’s Guild at St. Michael’s; she served as a Eucharist minister, Lazarus society and the Hospital ministry. Survivors include her loving family son, Dominic DeMonda, daughters, Maria Kuhn, Karen Bastien and Donna Oliver, brother Joseph, sisters, Theresa, Alice, Eileen and Vicki, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Monday November 2nd, 2015 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Tuesday November 3rd, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 8014 State Road 52, Hudson, FL, 34667, (727)868-5276.
The Family will have a reception gathering after Tuesday's Service at Karen Bastien's home and they ask that if you would like to attend, please ask any family member for directions.
