Happy Birthday, Ma. I wanted to let you know that I miss you every day. It's been very difficult for me not having you around. Since you've been gone, I've been very depressed and felt dead inside. I wish we had spent more time together and I wish I could talk to you every day.
I'd give anything to tell you I love you, tell you I'm sorry, and tell you about things going on in my life even for one day. I love you very much, Ma. And you'll always be a part of me. I am so happy that you still talk to me in my dreams because, at least, you're still around in some way.

Hi Ma,
In a few weeks it'll be a year since you've been gone. To be honest, it's been a total nightmare not having you around. I miss you every day and wish we could have spent more time together. I miss our weekly phone calls and the cards you sent for every holiday or special occasion. Everyone knows you were one of a kind, and I take great comfort in that. I'm also so glad we went to Safety Harbor and the Aquarium for your last Birthday. You looked really happy and it meant the world to me. I went to Granny and Papa's gravesite a few months ago and I know you were all there together. I absolutely hate that you're not here, but I am thankful that I can at least sense your presence at times. I remember you telling me that you have to move forward, not backward in life. I'm trying, Ma. It's really not easy, but I am moving on as best I can. I will not see you for a very long time, but I can't wait to give you a hug again. Lastly, I was in the car the other day and was listening to Steve Perry. It made me think of you, so I thought I'd share.

Hi Ma,
I miss you every day. Every time I'm at work, I wish I could pick up the phone and call you like I used to. I think that's the worst part about you being gone, not being able to talk or anything. I still hate that you're no longer here, but I keep going because that's all I can do. I had a flag made in your honor and got you an Angel Statue that lights up (which I know you'd love).
I wish i could have got you something this year for Mother's Day, but sending you another Gino Vannelli favorite instead! You had the best taste in music and pretty much everything.

Hi Mom,
I miss you every day and wish you were still here. I don't understand why you had to go and I hate that you're gone, but I keep going because that's all I can do. I have visited your resting place a few times and although it's such a lovely spot, I really hate going there. The finality of your death was just so sudden and unexpected, it's really hard to absorb and grasp. It's painful to witness the site, but don't worry, I'll be back to visit. I have often wondered why we all weren't enough to keep you going, but I realize now that you must have been truly suffering. I'm so sorry you had to endure such pain. If there was a way for me to undo all that, I'd make it so. I swear if I could go back in time to change things for you, so you wouldn't have to experience all that hurt, even if it meant I no longer existed, I would do it, Ma. Because I love you so much and I hate thinking that all you went through caused this. Anyways, I know you're with Granny and Papa because I saw you all in my dream a few weeks back. I'm glad you're happy now. I have my memories of you to keep me pushing forward. You're taste in music is one of those memories. So, I want to leave with this Gina Vanelli song because it says exactly how I feel (I am sure how we all feel) about you. I won't see you again for a very long time, but when I do, perhaps I'll finally understand why you had to go.
