Mary K. McIntosh's Obituary
Mary McIntosh, resident SuperWoman at Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Nursing Home, passed away at the age of 94 holding the hand of her husband of 68 years, Oakley W. McIntosh.  Born in St. George, SC, Mary served her country in the Army Nurses Corps aboard the ship "Acadia" during WW II.   After the war, she taught nursing at the Loma Linda  University Medical Center in California, before moving east. She raised a family while becoming a career realtor and  operating her own businesses in Maryland.  She served as President of the Women's Council (Metropolitan Washington DC chapter) and was inducted into the Omega Tau Rho Fraternity of the National Board of Realtors. She is survived by her husband, Oakley, one daughter Rhonda(Robin) who reside in West Virginia, two sons who live in Maryland, Roger and John (Nancy), and three grandchildren, Danny (Heidi), Rebecca (Nate), and Kimberly, as well as one sister, Helen Stolica,  several nieces/nephews and 3 grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to: The :  Women in Military Service Memorial Foundation:  2 Memorial Ave, Arlington, VA 22202. Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11am at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 10am.
