Mary C. Hacker's Obituary
Mary Catherine Hacker, 95 of Spring Hill, Florida, went home to be with Jesus on September 21, 2018. Mary was born on February 24, 1923 on Baxter Street in Manhattan, New York to Joseph and Mary Dorfmeister. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, New York City, St. Sebastian’s, Woodside, NY, St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill, and St. Timothy in Lutz.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joseph and Mary Dorfmeister, her daughter Barbara Dubler, and her husband of 35 years, Joe Hacker.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Pitts (Ben), her son Gregory Dubler (Vikki) and her daughter Lisa Miller (Ed); 5 grandchildren: Chris Nadzam, Geoffrey Nadzam (Cheryl), John Becker (Kimberly), Tim Dubler (Erica), Rachel Dubler, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home Hudson (FL) from 4 - 8:00 PM (prayer service at 7:30pm), with a Funeral Mass service on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, US 19, Spring Hill. Graveside service to follow at Grace Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
