Mary "Betsy Glasson's Obituary
Betsy Glasson, 87, left us on April 5th, 2025 within hospice care in Brooksville, FL due to a fast spreading cancer. She was the wife to her late husband Donald Lee Glasson.
Born in Gary Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John and Betty Yurtanas. Betsy is survived by her brother John Yurtanas and sister Barbara Matzdorf, her only son John Medved, her daughter in law Eva Medved, and her two grandchildren, Maxwell and Addison Medved whom lovingly referred to her as "GG".
Betsy was known for being a star and life-long performer, frequently delivering outstanding performances throughout her life at the Stage West Community Playhouse and singing in the Innovators Choir. Performing was one of her many passions.
Although she is no longer with us, we know she has truly achieved "star" status and will be looking down at us from above. May she rest in peace.
