Marshall Neil Bowman's Obituary
Marshall Neil "Jack" Bowman, aged 94, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on July 20, 2026. Born on March 8, 1932, in Smithsburg, Maryland, he was a son to the late Marshall and Mary Bowman. Jack was lovingly surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
Jack retired as an electrician from the State of Maryland Facility, Victor Cullen Center located in Sabillasville, Maryland. His work was not just a job but a significant part of his life, providing for his family and serving the community with dedication.
An avid outdoorsman, Jack's passions included hunting, fishing, shooting, and archery competitions. Known affectionately as "Barefoot Jack" in Hudson for his preference to be shoeless, he also enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and bicycling. His love for the outdoors was only matched by the joy he found in visits from his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his wife, Jeanne Bowman; children, Debbie Culler (Whitey), Kelly Voltz (Ike), Kevin Bowman (Duff), Anita Stover (Wade), and Annette (Kip); stepchildren, Jerri Spahr and John Stride (Kira); eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Barbara Hind, Phyllis Heiston, Shirley Bowman, and his grandson, Jesse Culler.
A private interment ceremony for family will be scheduled at a later date. The Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida, is assisting the family during this time. Jack's life, marked by his love for nature and family, leaves a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
