Mark Jules Eisenberg's Obituary
Eisenberg, Mark J., 74, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2022. Originally from New York City, Mark graduated from Brooklyn College and went on to become a history and science teacher. His love of teaching was cut short due to an injury he sustained on the job. As a stay-at-home father, he dedicated his life to his children and caring for his numerous pets. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, music, sports, and spending time with his family.
The ultimate jokester and prankster, Mark would be furious if he knew that his family wasted their time writing a standard obituary. With that being said…
Mark’s mastery of the English language was sabotaged by his inability to spell which, ironically, did not prevent him from becoming a published author. His ability to majestically intertwine the Queen’s English and New York City slang was evident to anyone who ever heard him talk.
A masterful storyteller, Mark would regale his listener with tales ranging from the biggest fish that he caught to the hole-in-one he almost hit. Regardless of the story being told, one could be assured that although it might have been stretched, it was based on the truth. This sense of honesty got him into as much trouble as it did endear him to his family and friends.
Mark was once married, almost twice married, nearly thrice married, which displayed his lifelong pursuit of having a beautiful woman by his side. This quest came with its highs and lows but he never stopped looking. Until his dying day, he was still plotting his next romantic conquest.
He is survived by his children Ross (Akemi) and Samantha (Greg), grandchildren Alex and Ariana, sister-in-law Dee Dee, and nephew Jay (Emily).
