A funny story...When Mom and I were visiting Grandma in the Winter of 2006, I was napping on the couch and Grandma snuck up on me and kissed me on the lips as I was stirring from my nap. Being awakened in such a manner, I was undoubtedly surprised! She had a good sense of humor. I loved hearing and watching her play hymns and ragtime music on her organ piano. Her fingers could fly across the organ keys even as she approached being a centenarian.

Your small group friends from Virginia send you our love, and we hope that God will be with each of you, Marcia, Steve, Mike and Millie, as you spend time together reminiscing about your mother. We remember the many times we heard wonderful stories about your mother and her dealings with life in Florida. We very much enjoyed sending her birthday cards for her 100th birthday... it was just as much a treat for us as it was for her.
