Marjorie (Walsh) Brown's Obituary
Marjorie (Walsh) Brown, 74, of Hudson Florida passed away suddenly yet peacefully at home Sunday November 4, surrounded by her loving husband Douglas, two of her daughters, her 4 small doggies and kitty-cat.
Marjorie was born in Weymouth, Ma on August 20, 1944. She spent many years employed with Braintree Town Assessors office prior to the family moving to Florida in 1988. Marjorie continued her career with Pasco County Tax Collectors office retiring in 2009.
Marjorie had a huge love for Boston Red Sox, the ocean, her pets, and time spent with her family. She always has a smile on her face and whit in her spirit. Marjorie was often referred to as “quite a character”, making those she came into contact with, smile and laugh. She had a way of turning even the most difficult situations into a positive.
Marjorie was one of the strongest, kind hearted souls. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Douglas F Brown Jr. Also left behind is her son Douglas and his partner Veronica and his sons Patrick, Bradley, and Joshua. Daughters Deborah, her husband Scott Gagnon, and her two sons, David and Michael, Melissa, her partner Donald and her two daughters Nicole, and Julianna, Meredith, her partner Marc and her daughter Steffanie. Not to forget her Soul surviving eldest sibling, Eleanor Steele of Vermont. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will take place at Grace Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home at a date to be determined. Marjorie had asked in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to American Cancer Society.
