Mario Stano's Obituary
Mario Stano, 94, of Hudson, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born in New York, New York to Nicola and Marie Stano. Mr. Stano moved to the Hudson area about ten years ago. He loved music and was an excellent tenor. He was a member of the Catholic Choral Society of Scranton, PA. Mr. Stano was also known as a great dancer. He was predeceased by his wife, Marcella Stano, in 2012. Mario and Marcella shared a love for dancing, and their favorite dance was the Peabody. He is survived by his son, Nick Stano; daughters, Theresa Laudone (Dan) and Patricia Ann Mitchell ("Bob"); seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral mass with visitation will be held in the Scarsdale, New York area, and are under the direction of Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home at Scarsdale, New York. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
