Marilee R. Armstrong's Obituary
On Sunday, August 3, 2025, Marilee Rachael (Wheeler) Armstrong went home to be with her Lord.
Marilee, the only child of Clarence and Marion Wheeler of Lyndonville, Vermont, was born February 28, 1940.
Marilee and her husband James (Pop) Armstrong moved to Brooksville, Florida in the early 1980’s. Here they built a life and combined their families into one big family of 8 children. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren followed over the years.
Pop preceded Marilee in death in May of 2012. Together they leave behind their children Brenda and Thurman McDaniel of Florida; Beverly Aaron of Florida; Juanita and John Moschos of Texas, James and Heather Armstrong of Florida, Wayne Armstrong and Mary of Florida, Michael Armstrong of New York, George Armstrong of Pennsylvania, and David and Tanya Armstrong of Texas. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember their Nana as well as Pop together again in heaven.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 4:00pm at Spring Lake Methodist Church on Spring Lake Highway in Brooksville Florida.
Daughters, Brenda McDaniel and Beverly Aaron; grandchildren: Rebecca Fowler, Dustin and Derick Aaron, Katrina and Christopher Pacini; and great-grandchildren, Rachael and Bentley along with the Armstrong family invite all who knew and loved her to attend this celebration of her life.
Gathering following the service will be held at the private home of Wayne Armstrong in Brooksville.
