Manuel Nelson Zapata's Obituary
Manuel Nelson Zapata, 91, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away December 22, 2014. He was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to Ramon Zapata and Juanita Seda. Mr. Zapata practiced law in New York until his retirement. He was a member of the LACCA Latin American Civic and Cultural Association and a US Navy veteran. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances Zapata.
He is survived by his son Nelson Zapata and wife Beatrice; daughters Dr. Nancy Schilling and husband William; Frances Poy and husband Alfonso; brother George Zapata and wife Carmen; sister Iris Zapata and five grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11AM Friday, January 2, 2015 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
