Manuel Toro, Sr.'s Obituary
Manuel Toro Sr., 94, of Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on Monday May 30nd, 2016. Manuel was born in Lajas, Puerto Rico to Manuel and Margarita Ramirez-Toro on December 30th, 1921. He was employed in the Construction field as a Carpenter for many years. Manuel served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was with the 65th Infantry Regiment with the American Veteran Borinqueneers. He was a 65th Regiment member where he earned 2 Bronze Stars and served in Africa, Germany and France. He was a Jehovah Witness by Faith . Manuel was predeceased by his wife Antonia. Survivors include his loving family, sons, Gilberto, Albeto, Manuel Jr., Roy, Francis and Raphael, daughters, Maria, Margaretia, Alisia and Alisa, brother, Gilberto, sisters, Elsia De Carmen and Elsia De Jesus, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 1st, 2016 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson, FL, 34667, 727-863-5471 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 2nd at 10:00AM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Hudson, Fl. Interment will follow at North Meadowlawn Cemetery, New Port Richey, Fl. www.gracememorialhudson.com
