M. Jill Whiting's Obituary
Mrs. M. Jill Whiting, 86, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on March 11, 2023 surrounded by her family, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. To the end she continued to always think of others over herself.
Jill was born November 8 th 1936 to the late Herbert and Edith Coales of Kent, England. She moved to Brooksville, FL from Queensbury NY in 2001. Jill was a member of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church, The Hernando County Ostomy Association and for many years a member of The Gideons Auxiliary where she supported and helped so many others throughout her years there.
Her happy place was being with family, traveling and going to the ocean.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Volkert “Vic” Whiting; daughter Mandy Dieffenbach; step children Jacqueline Russell, Volkert A Whiting, Cindy Robinson, Eric Whiting along with son and daughter in laws; grandchildren Tracy Hobbs and Sarah Dandeneau; great grandchildren James and Mason Dandeneau; and many wonderful step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private service will be held for family. In lieu of services and flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Association or St. Jude.
