Lynn C. McKinney's Obituary
Lynn C. McKinney, 76, of Spring Hill, passed away on December 23, 2025 at Tampa General Hospital Spring Hill. She was the beloved wife of Daniel “Dan” McKinney, with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on January 3, 1949, in Queens, New York, Lynn was the daughter of the late Leo and Margaret Lyons. She was known for her vibrant personality and zest for life—always the life of the party and someone who could light up any room.
Lynn loved doing crossword puzzles and listening to music. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending concerts, with the Rolling Stones and Janis Joplin among her favorites. She also loved relaxing at the beach and watching her favorite shows, Friends and The Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel “Dan” McKinney; her son, Daniel “Danny” McKinney (Tavia); her sister, Margaret “Peggy” McFadden (Gerard “Gerry”); her niece, Maggie McFadden; and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anna Maria McKinney; both of her parents; and her siblings: Leo Lyons, James Lyons, Patricia O’Connor, and Charles “Chucky” Lyons.
Lynn will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, her laughter, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
