I lived four houses away from Lynn and her family. My mom was close friends with Lynn so we were always spending special times with Lynn. Whether it was a birthday party, wedding, holiday or a BBQ. She was a second mom to us and all the kids on Fir Grove Road. When you went to her home she was always there offering you food or her favorite Entemanns snacks which she had piled high on the top of the fridge. I’ll always remember playing poker with her and her husband and her daughter until midnight, one o’clock in the morning. There were also our late night phase 10 matches too. I’ll never forget how much she loved the holidays too. Her creepy Halloween monsters hanging in the windows that had eyes that seem to follow you as you walked past the house. And how she made her house look like a Christmas wonderland with all the lights and tinsel every where.
She never held back expressing how she felt and she’d always use her favorite four letter dirty word. I moved down to Florida in 2019 after my parents passed away. Lynn made me feel like I had a piece of them still. I’m so sad she had to deal with this disease that took her from her family way too soon. But now she is reunited with her husband and at peace. Bless this beautiful soul and she will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
