Loretta M Orski's Obituary
Loretta M. Orski passed away very peacefully, Sunday, February 14th, at the Cornerstone Hospice, in Tavares, FL after a short illness.  Loretta was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 29, 1923 to Josef Chomicki and Josefa Kijak Chomicki.  She had five siblings—Stella, Helen, Mary, Charlie, and Alex all deceased.  She attended a Catholic Elementary School and a Public High School in Brooklyn.  She was a devout Roman Catholic all her life who was proud of her Polish heritage, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was married to her beloved husband Conrad R. Orski in June of 1943.  He died on February 22, 2005.  They moved from Brooklyn, NY, to Smithtown, Long Island, NY then to Nashua, NH before retiring to Hudson, FL in 1979.  Loretta was a key punch operator at the Home Insurance Company for 15 years.  In February 2013 she moved to Lake County, FL to be near her eldest daughter and son-in-law.  She loved all types of music, reading, watching old movies, especially musicals, hearing birds singing, and playing BINGO.
Loretta is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Nadine and Stephen Millett of Leesburg, FL, Deborah and Joseph Welsh of Georgetown, TX—three grandchildren Desiree Welsh of Georgetown, TX, Scott Millett and his wife Kelly of Wales, ME, and Jeffrey Millett and his wife Amy of Exeter, NH—three great grandchildren Ezare’ Millett 10, Delaney Millett 10, and Emma Millett 9 in addition to two step-great grandchildren Livanah Vieira 19, and Maggie St. Germaine 15. She is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-law Raymond and Judy Orski of Whiting, NJ, brother-in-law Harry Prodromedis of Lindenhust, NY, sister-in-law Teresa Chomicki of Mattituck, NY and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Wellwood/Grace Funeral Home and Cemetery, 16931 US HWY 19, Hudson, FL on Saturday, February 27.  The viewing will be between 1 - 3 followed a Catholic service and interment.
