Lloyd James Caminske's Obituary
Lloyd James Caminske, born on Jan 2, 1945, to Carl and Ednamae Caminske died peacefully in Spring Hill, Florida at the age of 77 on the morning of August 17, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He grew up in Bellerose, New York where he lived with his late parents, brother, and sister. Lloyd served in US Navy from 1963 to 1965 when he returned to his hometown and met his beloved wife of 53 years, Lynn Campbell in 1968. The two married on March 31, 1969. After they married, they moved to Ronkonkoma where he would travel to Long Island City for over 40 years working as a buyer for the Board of Education. Lloyd and Lynn raised their five children in Ronkonkoma, New York with their extended Fur Grove Road family. He spent countless summers in Upstate, New York at Swan Lake and Wanderwood making unforgettable memories with his wife, children, son-in-law’s, grandchildren, and friends. After retirement Lloyd fulfilled his dream of traveling the country with his wife, visiting 37 states by car. In October of 2015, the two moved to Spring Hill, Florida where they spent 7 years enjoying their next chapter of life. Throughout his time in Florida, Lloyd did what he loved most- spent time with family near and far. Lloyd will be buried with military honors at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on August 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
