Lisa Cleveland, age 71, passed away on April 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 4, 1955, and lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and genuine warmth toward everyone she met.
Lisa was preceded in passing by her beloved sisters Betty Jo Sunley of Thornton, Colorado, and Cheryl McClaren of Norwich, Kansas.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas R. Cleveland of Spring Hill, Florida; her loving son, Ryan H. Cleveland of Spring Hill, Florida; her cherished grandchildren—granddaughters Nephalyn Cleveland and Zairyen Cleveland of Spring Hill, Florida, and grandson Jace Cleveland of Lakeland, Florida; and her sister, Penny Hodge of Lawrence, Kansas. Lisa is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews from both sides of her family.
Lisa never met a stranger. Her welcoming smile and kind spirit could light up any room, and she had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Those who knew her will forever treasure the warmth she shared so freely.
Before her retirement, Lisa worked as a talented and dedicated hair stylist, a profession she embraced with passion and care. Even after long workdays, she generously donated her personal time to volunteer at local nursing homes, providing hair services to patients—an act of service that reflected her deep compassion and desire to help others feel dignified and cared for.
Lisa’s legacy is one of love, selflessness, and human connection. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
