Linda Reed Rader's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Linda Jane Rader
August 30th, 1958 - February 19th, 2026
Our family comes together to remember our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Linda Jane Rader. Each of us carries a piece of her steady support and bright optimism.
Linda was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and from the start she met life with kindness, loyalty, and a can-do spirit. Those simple traits shaped every bond she formed.
She built a loving home with her husband, Duke Rader. Her sons, Casey Burgett and Michael Burgett, knew her as their first fan, and her joy doubled when she became “Gammy” to Delaney Burgett. Linda also shared an easy closeness with her brother, Frank Reed, and her sister, Suzi Reed Hays.
No matter the distance, that sibling tie stayed strong because Linda never let anyone feel alone. A huge fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Linda cheered with the same energy she used to lift up her family. Whether the team won or lost, her loyalty never wavered, and we felt that same steadfast enthusiasm in our daily lives.
Linda passed away at the Dr Jay Weil Center for Hospice Care in New Port Richey, Florida. Even in her final moments, her calm optimism guided us toward gentle good-byes. We will miss her steady hand and warm heart every day, yet her supportive, kind and optimistic spirit lives on in each of us. We hold her close in memory and promise to carry her love forward.
