Mrs. Linda Susan Nielsen's Obituary
Linda Susan Nielsen passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022.
Linda was born on March 12th, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to graduating with honors from Rosemount High School in 1970, she became engaged in her junior year; ultimately becoming married to James “Jim” Milo Nielsen II on August 28th, 1971. She began her working career with a short stint for the IRS before becoming a bookkeeper for a floor covering company for many years.
Best friend, wife, mother, grandmother; Linda was all of that and exponentially more… her warm heart, sharp wit, endless patience, and compassionate personality always kept her willing to listen and eager help.
Throughout her life she traveled all over North America, visiting and camping each State at least twice and many more a third time… including nearly all Canadian provinces. Their motorhome brigade would traditionally be accompanied by close friends Dave & Linda Haggbloom.
Linda was an avid reader and continuously stayed up-to-date with the workings of the world. She loved quilting and created so many items that will be cherished by friends and family for ages. But most of all, she absolutely treasured spending time with her family – particularly her two grandsons.
Linda is preceded in death by her son (Jamie) and parents (Larry & Irene). She is survived by her husband (Jim), Daughter (Stephanie), Son (Beau), Sin-in-Law (Chris), Daughter-in-Law (Shannon), grandsons (Milo & Lucas) and countless more family and friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded with private services to be held at a later date.
