Leroy Johnson's Obituary
LeRoy C. Johnson, age 97, went into the presence of his Savior on December 19,2021. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, he became an electrical engineer. During that time, he met and married Audrey, the love and prayer warrior of his life. After a short career, he and Audrey attended Moody Bible Institute, resulting in them becoming missionaries to South Korea in 1956, just after the war had ceased. Together they established churches. Some of which began with 20 people and today have congregations over 1000. Subsequently, they served in Trinidad, South Africa and Zimbabwe. He also was interim pastor in Chelsea, MI.
He leaves behind, his adorable wife, sons John (Tracee) Stephen (Debbie) and Nate (Anna) as well as multiple grand and great grandchildren. “I have fought the good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the Faith.” A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday January 5, at 11 AM at Grace Memorial
Gardens, Hudson FL.
