Leondes Eduardo "Ed" Aragon Jr's Obituary
Mr. Leondes E. (Ed) Aragon, Jr. passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born February 1, 1948 in Manhattan, New York to the late Leondes and Esther Aragon. Ed graduated from Wallkill High school in Wallkill, New York, and Bridgeport College in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Ed was a proud veteran of the US Navy, where he served as a boilermaker from 1964 – 1967. After his service, Ed was a Mechanical Engineer for the American Thermal Company. He traveled extensively throughout the country and abroad monitoring and installing salt water extraction plants (desalinization), and working on nuclear power houses and fossil plants for various utility companies.
He volunteered as a luncheon cook at Franklin Senior Center and for St. Rocco’s Festival in Franklin, Massachusetts.  Ed was a member of the Elks Club of Franklin, Mass and VFW of Spring Hill, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and by his daughter Michelle Aragon.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of Spring Hill; brother Paul Aragon of New York; daughters Antoinetta Snell of Connecticut, ,Millagro Aragon Torres of Florida; five grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two nephews, and one niece.
