Leon K Storm's Obituary
Leon K. Storm, 83, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. Born on April 4, 1942, in Meade, South Dakota, to the late Ralph and Gertrude Storm, Leon’s life was marked by adventure, service, and devotion to family.
As a child, Leon lived in many states, following his father’s military assignments with the United States Army. Inspired by his father’s example, Leon proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he built a successful career as a salesman, earning the respect of colleagues and customers alike.
Leon met the love of his life in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and they were married on December 23, 1965, in Watertown, South Dakota. Together, they shared nearly six decades of marriage, just shy of their 60th anniversary—a testament to their enduring love and partnership.
An avid sports enthusiast, Leon embraced life with energy and passion. He competed in motorcycle racing, cross-country skiing, archery, road and velodrome cycling, target pistol and rifle shooting, and even fencing tournaments. His adventurous spirit and zest for life inspired everyone who knew him.
Leon is survived by his beloved wife, two children, five cherished grandchildren, and one precious great-grandchild. He was an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather whose warmth, humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th at 2:00 PM at Grace Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Leon’s remarkable life.
