Laurie Lee Taglieri's Obituary
Laurie Biby Taglieri, 62, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at her home in Spring Hill, Florida.
Born on August 13, 1963, in Pennsylvania, Laurie was the daughter of Meredith “Wayne” Biby and Linda Biby (née Kalb). She later made her home in Spring Hill, Florida, where she built a life centered around family, love, and the simple moments that meant the most.
Laurie was a hard worker from a young age, beginning as a florist at 16, where she discovered her love for creating beautiful arrangements. She later owned a pizzeria before dedicating many years to GTE/Verizon and later TECO, where she was known for her strong work ethic, intelligence, and incredible memory.
More than anything, Laurie will be remembered for her heart. She loved deeply and selflessly, always putting others before herself. She had a quiet strength and a way of making people feel cared for and supported. She found joy in baking, celebrating holidays, and bringing comfort to her family through the little things she did every day.
Laurie enjoyed shopping, watching manatees and birds, helicopters, and spending time at the gun range. Her love for animals began in childhood, when she had pet monkeys named Tiki and Chico, and continued throughout her life with her beloved French Bulldog, Rocky.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and they were a constant source of pride and happiness. She was a steady source of love and support to everyone around her.
Laurie is survived by her life partner, Rande; her children, Alana (Bobby) and Vincent; and her cherished grandchildren, Witten, Colton, Elara, Korbin, and Aubree. She is also survived by her father, Wayne; her sisters, Terry (Jim), Robin (Mark), and Wanda; her brother, Mike (Tammy); along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was predeceased by her mother, Linda.
Laurie will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her kindness, her strength, and the way she loved her family with her whole heart, especially her children. She was the heart of our family, and we will miss her more than words can say. We will hold onto the love and memories she gave us forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter in Laurie’s memory.
