Larry “Alex” Cammon, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2026, at his residence in Spring Hill, Florida.
Born on January 11, 1981, in Austell, Georgia, Alex was the son of Larry E. Cammon and Jayne Cammon (née Hagy).
Alex was a man known for his big heart, caring nature, and strong work ethic. He was a dedicated insurance agent whose career allowed him to serve clients across 15 states. Alex took great pride in his work and was respected for his knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to helping others.
Music was one of Alex’s greatest passions. He loved playing guitar, singing, and writing his own songs, and had previously played in a band. Music was a meaningful part of his life and a powerful way he expressed himself and connected with those around him.
Alex also enjoyed watching sports, especially football and baseball. He was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He and his father especially enjoyed talking sports together. Above all, Alex treasured the simple joys of life, including the companionship of his beloved tuxedo cat, Billy Jack.
Alex is survived by his father, Larry E. Cammon; his mother, Jayne Cammon; his brother, John Kennedy; his sister, Layla Cammon; his nieces, Sierra Kennedy and Kaitlyn Kennedy; his aunt, Gloria Gillenwater; his uncle, Roger Hagy; many cousins, including a special cousin, Donna; a dear friend, “Butch”; and his loyal furbaby, Billy Jack.
Alex’s kind spirit, creativity, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
