Kenneth Paul Jester Jr's Obituary
Kenneth Paul Jester Jr, 84, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at his residence in New Port Richey, Florida. He was the husband of Linda Jester. They shared 63 years of marriage together.
Born in Cambridge, Maryland, he was the son of the late Kenneth Jester Sr and Frances Jester. He was a veteran of the Maryland Army National Guard, having served for eleven years. After the military, he worked as a cabinet maker.
He loved being involved in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Little League when his sons were growing up. Other activities he enjoyed were bowling and fishing.
In 1972, Kenny and Linda moved to West Central Florida from Easton, Maryland. They lived in Holiday then Hudson and ultimately ended up in New Port Richey.
They became members of Grace Bible Church in Hudson in 1980 and still call Grace their home church today. Kenny was very active in the church - he sang in the choir, was the head usher during the early morning service, and he coached the church’s softball team.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Linda Jester; his four sons: Michael Jester, Kevin Jester (Lori), Aaron Jester, and Allen Davis (Diana); eight grandchildren: Michael Jr, Jeremy, Evan, Ian, Tanner, Keegan, Lexi, and Christian; two step grandchildren, Erica and Terry; 13 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and his sister, Lyn Smith. He is predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Sean.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on May 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Grace Bible Church, 9403 Scot Street, Hudson, FL 34669.
