Kathleen Anne Shauan's Obituary
Kathleen Anne Shauan, 80, of Hudson, Florida passed away January 26, 2014. She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Carl and Velda Schroen on May 2, 1933. She moved to New Port Richey from Milan, Michigan in 1971. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey for many years. She was co-owner of Rain Control Aluminum with her husband Richard. Kathleen is remembered by family and friends as being family oriented. She was also a homemaker. She provided a warm home to her family, and she's also remembered for having made her children's clothes. She was very artistic, and enjoyed knitting and drawing. She also enjoyed reading and riding her bicycle. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. She is survived by her sons: Dallas Shauan (Jane) of Hobe Sound, Paris Shauan (Deborah) of New Port Richey, and Wayne Shauan (Karyn) of Monroe, North Carolina; daughters: Tamara Daggs ("Rick") of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Denise Day (Stephen) of Palm Harbor; brother Wesley Schroen; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Richard; and daughter, Sabrina Ramirez (Ramon).
