Kathleen Ranus' Obituary
Kathleen Ann Ranus, 70, of Florida, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, under the compassionate care of Marliere Hospice House.
Born in 1954 in New Rochelle, New York, Kathleen was the beloved daughter of the late Barbara Ann Gee and John Francis Moore. She graduated from Saint Gabriel’s High School in 1972 and went on to serve her country with honor in the United States Air Force, where she earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
Kathleen lived a life full of energy, kindness, and joy. She volunteered as a candy striper in her early years and later found joy in running Disney marathons, spending time at the beach, and savoring her favorite treats from Dunkin’ Donuts. A devout Catholic, she found strength and peace in attending Mass regularly. Her playful spirit and love for the Minions brought smiles to those around her.
In 1994, she married the love of her life, John Ranus, with whom she shared over three decades of love and companionship. Kathleen is survived by her husband, John Ranus; her daughter, Caitlin Ranus; her twin brother, Kevin Moore; and her sister, Tracy Moore Pitt.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Grace Memorial Gardens.
Kathleen will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
