Karl Dutczak's Obituary
Karl Dutczak, 94, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025 at AdventHealth Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Jeannine Dutczak, with whom he met in St. Martin in 1991 and shared 33 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on April 29, 1931 in Czernovitz, Romania, Karl was the son of the late Albert and Josephine Dutczak. He immigrated to the United States in January 1969 in pursuit of a better life and the American dream—a dream he cherished deeply.
A master technician by trade, Karl owned and operated Karl Business Machines in Trenton, New Jersey, which he founded in 1976. He specialized in repairing office equipment such as typewriters, calculators, and fax machines, earning a reputation for his skill, precision, and dedication. In June 1987, Karl retired and proudly passed the business on to his son.
Karl had a passion for gardening and took great pride in maintaining his yard. He loved to travel, especially enjoying cruises, and spent many hours playing Keno on his personal machine. A proud and patriotic American, Karl often expressed his deep love for the country he called home, believing it to be the best in the world.
Known for his generosity, Karl was the kind of man who would literally give you the shirt off his back. His kindness, warmth, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannine Dutczak; his son, Ricardo Dutczak (Heather); his daughter, Monica; his step-son, Wayne Guido (Natalie Halbert); his grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Alex, Andre and Gyan; his step-grandchildren, Ashley and Wayne Jr; his sister, Olga Dutczak; and his brother, Joseph Dutczak.
Karl was predeceased by his parents and his brothers: Anton, Albert, Emil, and Willy.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
