June Annette Fessler, 84, of Hudson, Florida, Journeyed to Heaven peacefully on Saturday January 3, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.
June was born on June 15, 1941, in Yakima, WA to Muriel Alice (Brown) and Charles August Henke. June moved to Deer Island, OR as a child. She married Ervin Edward Slater of Muskegon, MI. July 26, 1958, and Charles Fessler, October 18, 1985. June enjoyed traveling. She was privileged to travel throughout the United States, touring the west coast, venturing to Hawaii, Texas and living in many states. She also lived in Germany and toured in Europe. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and owned a flower shop in Portland Oregon. She had a strong belief in God, often sharing that faith with others. June was loved by many.
Her family included: two daughters Cheryl Diane Mcintyre (husband, Robert David)
of Wilsonville, OR and Brenda Jo Steoberl (husband, Kurt) of New Port Richey, FL;
son, Timothy Edward Slater (deceased, 2015); 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
