Judith H. Grodesky's Obituary
Judith Hannah Grodesky, 87, of New Port Richey, Florida and formerly of Cazenovia, NY and Newton Falls, OH, surrounded by her family’s love and prayers, born October 11, 1937, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 11, 2025.
Judith is survived by her daughter Lisa (Chester) Sapino of New Port Richey, her son Michael (Leslie) Grodesky of Hyde Park, NY, and her daughter Jenna (Steve) Mindel of Petoskey, MI. Her granddaughters Caitlin (Bryan) McAfoose of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Megan (Steve) Corello of Medford, NJ, her
precious great-grandchildren Teagyn, Riley, and Jordyn McAfoose & Jacob and Travis Corello.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents Albert & Isabelle Pearson, and her Husband of 63 years George J. Grodesky.
Judith graduated from Newton Falls High School. Judith and George volunteered for 10 years as Resident
Directors for the ABC House in Manlius, NY, which has a scholarship program for minority honor
students. They also were house parents at the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Bradenton, FL & the Hope Youth
Ranch in Hudson, FL.
Judith was a member of the Christian Church of the Resurrection, Syracuse, NY and the Assembly of God,
Cazenovia, NY. After moving to Florida in 2001 she was a member of the First Assembly of God, Gulf
Coast Worship Center, and later supported Refuge Church of New Port Richey, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 14, 2025
