Dearest Johnny -
You don’t know us, and we’ve never met you, but we feel we know you, thru the many stories, your Grandma (Sherrill) shared with us. She talked about you incessantly, as
she repeated every little detail, when picking you up or driving you to school.
The smile on her face when she talked about “Her Johnny” would light up any room.
We live in Canada, and were not able to attend your Memorial Service, or we certainly
would have been there, along with your 4 siblings, all your relatives, and the many many
friends you collected along the way.
We feel as though we know you, if only thru Sherrill’s loving, explicit stories, always recounting the details with A Huge Smile!
We hesitated to write to you, being complete strangers, & Canadian Yet!
You must have touched us with your heart, and left a lasting impression on us.
We choose to remember you thru’ the many stories your Grandma shared.
You’ll be fondly remembered.
