Hope Pesner
Johnny and my Dad Eugene Pesner were best friends in the Navy during the 1950s. They lost touch for 40 years but thankfully we were able to reconnect them. They picked up right whete They left off. My Dad asked me to use the internet to find Johnny. I came home with six possible phone numbers. The 2nd one was the right one. Johnny's wife Carol answered. My Dad identified himself and said he was looking for his friend from the Navy. Johnny asked who was on the phone. Carol said someone named Gene Pesner. He grabbed the phone, asked how the hell My Dad was doing and if he was still with the girl from Brooklyn (my Mom). We lived in PA. John and Carol in CT. Multiple visits ensued. When my parents moved to Floria, John and Carol went to visit them and ended up in the same retirement community. After my Dad died, John and Carol were always there for my Mom. And after my Mom died, they were there for my sister and me. Wonderful caring people. May their memories be a blessing!
