Lou and I regret we could not be with you today. I have many fond memories of tagging along with my sister and John wherever they went including Red Hook pool Coney Island and that unforgettable day at Freedom land where we spent an agonizing hour suspended above the park in a stuck ride ! John was cool calm and collected as my sister panicked ( funny now ,not then) We enjoyed many wiffle ball games in Smithtown where I often visited as a young teenager and he always took me to exciting places like the dump and Dairy barn.I never heard Johnny complain that I was around. I loved being there and later my son Michael grew to love it also.But life goes on and time will ease the pain we all feel today.Be strong Dee. It is with such saddnes to know that John passed away. We have known John so many years with Lucy- so many great and wonderful get togethers especially during holidays. We even had as well the most enjoyable cruise trip several years back. We will always cherish John for his friendship and most importantly his love for Dear Lucy, his three sons, family and everyone he knew. God Bless you John- we all will definitely miss you!
